Halls of Stone Spoiler Free Walkthrough

This guide will help find all there is in Halls of Stone, this is a 100% discovery guide. 

No story spoilers will be shown. There are tips in part 2 which may spoil some elements of the story. If you get stuck, take a look there.

Level 1: Intro

Enter town and walk around. Check the broken building to the left. Afterwards, walk past the building to the right and check the smoke stacks. Try to leave west, east, or south.

Enter the building. In the center of the room is a Cryocasket. Use these to fully recover HP throughout your adventure. Talk to the oracle at the top right corner of the room until exhausting all dialog. Then check the rubble at the top center of the room. 

Exit, and after leaving the building, follow the road in the middle of the area north. Follow the dirt path left and check the hollowed out stump.

After, follow the path north into the castle door.

Inside find the oracle waiting in the center of the room. To the right is a locked door. Try to leave either north or west before talking to the oracle and exhausting all dialog. Then exit north.

Here there is a door north that is inaccessible now. Exit south.

Upon reentering, you will be attacked by a jelly. Defeat it and then continue west.

In the block rows, follow the path and exit to the north.

Here is the first cryocasket within the castle itself. It can be used an unlimited number of times. Exit south back to the block rows. Fight the Jelly in here until reaching level 3. The Jelly has 10 HP and rewards 10 EXP.

Upon reaching level 3 you'll get your first magic power, Cure. This can be used in battle to restore HP.

Level 3: The Basement



Walk over to the discolored block and press Activate (Gameboy A) to move it out of the way and reveal a secret staircase. Walk over the stairs to descend into the basement.



Travel north and find the first boss, the snake.



Fight using attack to damage the snake, and cure to heal yourself when HP is low. After a few turns, the snake should be toast and a new staircase up will be revealed.




Don't go up the stairs yet, instead go south and walk over to the south eastern most block, and activate it while standing to the right of the block to reveal the staircase back to the block rows. Return to the cryocasket and heal. Then descend and fight the snake again until reaching level 4. Once reaching level 4, heal at the Cryocasket and ascend up the new found staircase in the snake room.
